| I cannot play my video files |
You probably dont have the correct video codecs installed in your system. Download and install additional codecs from www.free-codecs.com.
(we recommend the K-Lite Codec Pack 2.53)

| Can Antares10 play .3gp video files downloaded from my cellphone? |
Antares10 currently cannot play .3gp files. An alternative software named Quicktime Alternative 1.6, however, can play such files if you already had Apple Quicktime7 installed on your computer.

| I just bought Antares10 and I've added codecs so I can see different movie files. I found some REAL codecs in a package called "Real Alternative" but Antares10 has a filter set that hides files in the REAL format. How can I get the file to show in the file list so I can play it. |
If you already have Quicktime Alternative or Real Alternative codecs installed on your computer, Antares10 can be manually configured to open those files. To do this use the registry editor, and go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Antares1000\StartUp
Double click on the value FilterMedia.
On the Edit Binary Value screen, scroll to the last line (VOB=1) and add rm=1 or 3gp=1 (if adding both then separate them with 0A 0D).
The next version of Antares10 will have the media filters configurable from inside the program.
